Data Deletion Instructions

You can also self-delete from the dashboard
If you have access to your account, go to Dashboard → Settings → Account → Delete Account for immediate deletion. The steps below are for users who no longer have access to their account.
How to Request Data Deletion
joseaburto allows you to request the permanent deletion of all personal data associated with your account. This includes:
- Your user profile (name, email, Facebook ID)
- Your tenant/business record
- Your connected WhatsApp Business credentials (encrypted access tokens)
- All WhatsApp message records stored in our system
- Usage logs associated with your account
Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Send a deletion request
Email privacy@joseaburto.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your joseaburto account.
Step 2: We verify your identity
Within 2 business days we will confirm your identity and acknowledge your request with a confirmation code.
Step 3: Data is deleted within 30 days
All your personal data, WhatsApp credentials, and message history will be permanently deleted within 30 days of verification.
What Happens After Deletion
Once your deletion request is processed and your identity is verified:
- All data listed above will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- Your WhatsApp Business connection will be terminated
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
- Deletion is irreversible — deleted data cannot be recovered
Data We May Retain
In limited cases, we may retain certain data even after a deletion request, as required or permitted by law:
- Financial transaction records (for tax and legal compliance) — retained for the period required by applicable law
- Data subject to an active legal hold or dispute
- Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you
Data Deletion via Facebook Login Disconnect
If you connected to joseaburto using Facebook Login and disconnect this app from your Facebook account (via Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites), we will receive a notification from Meta and initiate automatic deletion of your joseaburto account data within 30 days.
You will receive a confirmation email at the address associated with your account.
Check Deletion Status
After submitting a request, you can check the status by emailing privacy@joseaburto.com with your confirmation code. We will respond within 2 business days with the current status (pending, in progress, or complete).
